I'm one-half of Central PA's Morning News, along side WHP 580 News Director Bill Mead.
But, that's not all!!!
I'm also responsible for keeping you in the know for about 75 of our sister radio stations. (Ok, it's really like 5, but you get the point.) You can hear me on BOB 94.9, The River 97.3 WRVV, The Fortress 1230 WKBO, FM 97, and 1390 WLAN nearly every day.
Sometimes, you may even hear me on Fox News Radio talking about the hot topics in the Commonwealth...or just the really odd things that tend to happen here.
When high school football season rolls around, you'll be able to catch me in the Play-By-Play booth on AM 1460 the Ticket covering Cumberland Valley and Bishop McDevitt.
Beginning in the 2007-2008 season, I added some new duties outside the radio station as one of the PA Announcers for Hershey Bears hockey.
And, on a handfull of occasions, you'll see me singing the National Anthem at a Senators Game or a WHP 580 Troop Rally.
Can I Hear U?
Like what I'm sayin'? I heart you, too. Email me here.
Know that I may use your responses in during a future posting, but that doesn't mean you should be shy. You might be the person who sets me straight...what an honor for you!
Who is That Guy?
Bob is homegrown without a doubt! Born and raised in the countryside just outside of Shamokin, Bob has spent his entire life right here in Central PA, graduating from Our Lady of Lourdes Regional High School in Coal Township in 1998 and Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove in 2002.
Although at a young age (granted he's older than he looks), Bob has an experienced background in broadcasting, working as a Top-40 DJ and a television production crew memeber before joining the WHP 580 News Team in late December of 2004.
Armed with a sense of humor and a "lucky to be here" attitude, Bob adds to an already tremendously successful news team with his background in our communities, our sports, and our lifestyles.
Bob has also won several Pennsylvania Associated Press awards during his tenure at WHP 580.
Bob welcomed his first son, Brodey, on May 18th, 2006.
